When I walked in, there was a huge line, so I was already sure that the food was going to taste good. Service was quick and helpful. Food tasted fresh and delicious. I just wish there were more options to fill the bowl. Really tasty and very good price!

I was doing a few deliveries in the Durham area and that was after an 8 hour shift at my day job. So I had an appetite built up. I passed by and decided to go inside. So I checked this place out with no research and no knowledge of what they really offered. The custom bowl is a huge trend now and Farmside is a new guest to the party, except this is no chain, at least not yet! I ordered the Rancher bowl with grilled chicken, black beans, roasted corn, avocado, feta cheese, red onion, corn tortilla chips, shredded kale, seasoned brown rice, cilantro lime dressing and a little honey Sriracha drizzle on top. Not sure how Sriracha fits in with the Southwest, but whatevs! They asked how much dressing I wanted, and I went with medium level. Truthfully, I could have used more. So I asked for a cup of their jalapeno dressing on the side and that elevated it from pretty good to really good! More flavor, more punch. On a down note, I wasn't able to get any LaFarm sourdough bread, they were already out. The beverages were good, I went with the pineapple mint juice, super refreshing. This was a good place to go for a quick healthy meal, I also like that they have outdoor seating.

Yum! Delicious salad bowl spot!! Quality local farmer ingredients used, forks are compostable, bowls are compostable, such a eco-friendly spot for good healthy grub. How it works: you can order online + pick up is easy. Otherwise, waltz into the place, team members extremely friendly + helpful; merely step in line (which if there's a line, it's quick moving), order your bowl + customize if need or create one from scratch.

I met a friend here for after-work supper and it was delightful. They put your bowl together from a collection in a bar behind glass (that kind of looks like a Moe's), stir it up and drop it in a bowl for you as you get to the check out. You can choose from a predesigned combination or create-your-own. Wine come in cans and they have fountain drinks that are their own interesting concoctions. It is casual dining, easily boxed to go or to eat there, inside or on the patio.

Great place to grab and healthy lunch, just don't expect to use a 30 min lunch break! It gets very crowded here during lunch hour and a bit overwhelming if you are looking to create your own bowl. I've always stuck to The Pitchfork with the yummy tofu. The employees behind the counter feel a bit frantic so I try to keep it simple. Getting the bread on the side is really nice and they have some good handcrafted beverages including a pineapple mint drink that I love. Overall a really nice healthy and local place for a bite to eat, but be warned it's not quiet or cozy during a weekday lunch rush!

Traveling from Richmond to Charlotte and back 2X a month you get tired of the same ole Burger places so we were willing to get sidetracked 10 miles off of 485 South by DURHAM, NC to FARMSIDE KITCHEN we WERE NOT DISAPPOINTED !!! WE are Very HAPPY WE Found FARMSIDE KITCHEN because the Food was so Ftesh & Tasty. Service was quicker than any Fast Food Place I've ever been as the line moves along very quickly. The Staff was very helpful and they have Outdoor Seating!!! Ambiance indoors was Good and although a little noisy we still enjoyed eating there very much. Do what 100s of people do everyday and stop by FARMSIDE Kitchen and enjoy their Bowls of Organic Salads which are Second to none

Best salad I ever had! For all you salad haters, this place would change your mind. I had the Rancher with the cilantro lime dressing. Just amazing! The shredded kale was fresh and crisp. I loved the contrast between the crunchy corn tortilla chips and soft black beans, corn, brown rice, and kale. The cilantro lime dressing definitely marries all the ingredients. I highly recommend the cilantro lime dressing. It is beyond amazing. This is a must try. It was my second time here and I would be more than happy to come back. I brought my family and friends here and they all loved it! Casual dining. Service was fast.
